The Local Food Council of Beaujolais Pierres Dorées has approved the strategic orientations of the Territorial Food Project (PAT), a program structured around 6 strategic axes and 19 actions to enhance the region's agricultural and food resilience.

The action program of the Territorial Food Project is organized around 6 strategic axes designed to address the challenges identified during the diagnostic phase. The ambition is to strengthen the agricultural and food resilience of the territory, develop local circuits, facilitate access to quality food, and anticipate the effects of climate change. The axes include supporting local agriculture and preserving land, structuring local supply chains and collective catering, strengthening links between producers and inhabitants, improving the visibility and accessibility of local offerings, raising awareness about local and sustainable food, and adapting to climate change.
On June 23, 2026, the Communauté de Communes Beaujolais Pierres Dorées convened the Local Food Council (CLA) for the first time. Composed of representatives from the agricultural sector, food businesses, social actors, consumers, and elected officials, the CLA's mission is to foster dialogue and provide opinions on the PAT. This initial meeting allowed for the sharing of territorial diagnostic results, which highlighted over 400 agricultural holdings and more than 90 agri-food businesses, as well as the initial orientations for the future action program.
To refine the content of the action sheets and define implementation methods, two workshops were organized on August 25 and September 24, 2026. These meetings enabled elected officials, producers, associations, and territorial partners to contribute to the program's construction, focusing on promoting local producers and markets, fostering connections between farmers and consumers, educating on sustainable food, and ensuring access to quality food for all. Structuring tools such as the creation of a common identity for local offerings were also discussed.
The contributions gathered during these workshops form a solid basis for finalizing the PAT's action program. They will inform the work of the Steering Committee, which met on October 20, 2026, before the action plan is voted on at the Community Council meeting on November 4, 2026. This participatory approach aims to build a collective project for local, sustainable, and accessible food for everyone.
