The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency (ARS) has launched a call for applications for the creation of 13 new support and respite platforms (PFR) for the 2026-2027 period, aimed at supporting informal caregivers.

These platforms will aim to identify and support informal caregivers looking after individuals with neurodegenerative diseases, elderly people with loss of autonomy, or aging disabled individuals. The objective is to strengthen the role of respite platforms to improve the identification, referral, and support of caregivers, thereby preventing burnout and consolidating their agency.
In line with the national strategies "Agir pour les aidants" (2023-2027) and "Maladies Neurodégénératives-MND" (2025-2030), the ARS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is continuing to develop these services. Thirteen new platforms will be established in the following departments: Ain, Allier, Ardèche, Cantal, Drôme, Isère, Loire, Haute-Loire, Puy de Dôme, Rhône, Métropole de Lyon, Savoie, and Haute-Savoie.
These placements aim to anticipate the needs of informal caregivers and enhance territorial offerings. Given the allocated budget, thirteen new PFRs will be authorized for a total amount of 2,080,000 euros. Each platform will receive an annual grant of 160,000 euros.
Applicants must submit their complete application by February 5, 2027, at 11:59 PM, via the Démarches Numériques platform.
