In Régional 3, the first team suffered a heavy 7-0 defeat on Cournon's pitch, marking their first loss of the season. This severe setback must be quickly overcome as the club faces the 5th round of the Coupe de France this weekend, a crucial match to regain early-season momentum.
The reserve team, playing in Départemental 2, secured a 0-0 draw in Ceyrat. For their first outing with their new kit, the squad impressed with its defensive rigor, keeping a clean sheet despite missed offensive opportunities. The team's performance remains encouraging.
The third team, competing in Départemental 4, achieved a strong reaction. Highly engaged from the start, the players imposed their intensity and collective play. Alan stood out with his assists, enabling Hafiz (twice) and Ali to score. Yvan later sealed the victory from another pass by Hafiz. Despite a less animated second half, the win was secured.
This mixed weekend for AS Orcines highlights the length of the season and the importance of each match for confirmation, correction, and recovery.
