After hosting a time trial in 2023, Passy is preparing to welcome the Tour de France again in 2027. The Town Hall of Passy has expressed its pride in hosting this iconic cycling race.
On July 13, 2027, cyclists will ride along the Côte des Soudans, pass at the foot of the Chedde waterfall, before tackling the climb towards the Plateau d’Assy.
This event is not by chance, as the municipality has been committed to promoting cycling in all its forms for several years. This includes three marked cycling routes ending at the Plaine-Joux resort, facing Mont-Blanc, as well as three editions of the Tour du Val d’Aoste to discover promising young Italian riders. A partnership with Team 74 was also signed in 2025 to support high-level athletes.
The Town Hall invites residents, businesses, associations, and cycling enthusiasts to make this day a celebration, emphasizing that the Tour de France concerns everyone. Practical information regarding the detailed route, schedules, and traffic will be communicated later on the town hall's website and social media.
