Children from the Combrailles, Sioule et Morge community of communes' after-school programs have raised €758.51 for breast cancer awareness through the sale of handmade items and community events.

As part of Octobre Rose (Pink October), children from the after-school programs of the Combrailles, Sioule et Morge community of communes mobilized for the fight against breast cancer. This solidarity initiative successfully raised €758.51 for the association Clermont en Rose.
Over several weeks, children from eight after-school sites dedicated their creativity to crafting decorative and artisanal items. These creations were then offered for sale during two community events held on October 14th and 15th in Combronde and Manzat.
These days featured shared snacks, creative workshops, games, sports activities, and face painting, bringing together families and animation teams. Joëlle Rousselet, Vice-President of the community of communes for Childhood-Youth, supported this mobilization.
Thanks to the children's commitment, staff involvement, and family participation, a total of €758.51 was collected. This sum will be officially presented to the association Clermont en Rose on Thursday, December 3rd, at the school in Manzat.
Beyond the financial collection, this initiative provided children with a concrete experience of solidarity and generosity, while also involving families in a collective action for an important cause.
