The Mairie de Saint-Jean-sur-Veyle has acquired a new light vehicle to enhance the intervention capabilities of its volunteer firefighters, addressing an identified need for assisting individuals.

This equipment, long-awaited, meets a clearly identified need on the ground. Firefighters are regularly called upon for rescue operations involving individuals, missions for which the traditional fire truck can sometimes be oversized and less easy to maneuver.
This new vehicle, more compact and agile, will therefore be particularly suitable for daily interventions and will usefully complement the existing truck available to them.
The municipality warmly thanked the volunteer firefighters for their commitment, availability, and dedication to the safety of all.
