Inaugurated on October 14, 2006, the college welcomed its first students, marking the culmination of several years of reflection and consultation initiated in the early 1990s to address the area's demographic growth. The initial investment for the establishment exceeded 11 million euros.
Over time, the college has developed a strong identity thanks to its teaching staff, students, and its connections with families, local authorities, and partners. The new establishment project emphasizes individual support, equal opportunities, well-being, creativity, and cultural openness, based on the values of trust, solidarity, collaboration, and friendliness.
The 2026-2027 school year is dedicated to memory and sharing. A flagship project, "Time Capsules," led by students from the ULIS program under the coordination of Ms. Bau, will collect photographs, videos, and anecdotes to create a collective work recounting the college's history.
This collective dimension is reinforced by close partnerships with the Department of Savoie and the municipality of Grésy-sur-Aix. The management expresses its gratitude to Ms. Nathalie Schmitt (Vice-President of the Departmental Council), Mr. Florian Maître (Mayor of Grésy-sur-Aix), and Mr. Tony Boissenin-Granjean (Director of Departmental Colleges) for their support.
The spirit of consultation and commitment, initiated by Robert Clerc (former mayor) and Daniel Machire (first principal), remains a fundamental value. The principal, T. Diot, thanks the staff, families, and partners, and especially the students, for keeping the college alive today and imagining its future.
