From October 1st to November 30th, 2026, residents of Grand Chambéry and Grand Lac are invited to submit their business creation ideas for the 5th Entrepreneurial Idea Contest.

The CitésLab initiatives of Grand Chambéry and Grand Lac are launching the 5th edition of the Entrepreneurial Idea Contest. Until November 30th, 2026, residents of both areas can present their concept or business creation project. This year, 8 winners, four from each territory, will be selected and will receive tailored support to bring their vision to life.
The aim of this contest is to foster the desire to undertake and to encourage the emergence of new projects within the territories of Grand Chambéry and Grand Lac. All ideas are welcome, whether they relate to the economy, commerce, crafts, sports, culture, digital technology, social and solidarity economy, or ecological transition. Participants can submit a simple idea or a project already in development, provided the company is not yet registered.
This initiative is jointly organized by the two CitésLab programs, supported by Bpifrance, Crédit Agricole, and in partnership with local economic and social stakeholders. The prizes include professional support to study the project's feasibility and prepare its development, valued between €500 and €1000 in kind.
The contest is open to anyone over 18 years old residing in one of the 38 municipalities of Grand Chambéry or one of the 28 municipalities of Grand Lac. Registrations are open until November 30th, 2026 at midnight. A paper application form is available for those who encounter difficulties with online procedures.
The CitésLab – Talent Revealer initiative is part of the national program « Entrepreneurship for All » by Bpifrance. Its mission is to identify, support, and guide future entrepreneurs, particularly those from Priority Urban Areas. In Savoie, two such initiatives exist, supported by Bpifrance and the European Social Fund.
