On October 27, 2026, the Local Plan for Insertion and Employment (PLIE) of Grand Chambéry, in partnership with the Mission Locale Jeunes, organized an open house event in Chambéry's businesses for job seekers.

As part of the Professional Immersion Month in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, this initiative aimed to introduce retail and hospitality professions to about fifteen individuals supported through various integration programs. Around ten local businesses participated.
The Professional Situation Period in the Workplace (PMSMP) allowed participants to discover a profession, confirm a career plan, or prepare for recruitment.
These sectors, offering numerous professional prospects, face recruitment challenges. The event highlighted the diversity of jobs and employment opportunities in the Chambéry area.
Through this partnership with the Mission Locale Jeunes and Chambéry's shopkeepers, the PLIE of Grand Chambéry reaffirms its commitment to professional integration and bridging the gap between job seekers and local businesses.
