From November 6th to 8th, Châtel-Guyon is participating in the national Food Bank collection. The CCAS, alongside volunteers, invites residents to donate non-perishable items at the Carrefour Contact store.

As part of the national Food Bank collection operation, taking place from November 6th to 8th, the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) of Châtel-Guyon is mobilizing. The goal is to support the Food Bank of Puy-de-Dôme before the winter period.
Volunteers from the Food Bank of Puy-de-Dôme will be present at the Carrefour Contact store, located on the route de Riom. They will inform customers and collect donations during opening hours, alongside elected officials and CCAS members.
Residents are encouraged to donate long-lasting products such as pasta, rice, canned goods, baby products, diapers, sugar, and oil.
Last year, this initiative successfully collected 814 kg of food thanks to the solidarity of the Châtel-Guyon residents.
The collection will take place on Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM, and on Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM.
