The Lyon Metropolis, the City of Lyon, and the University of Lyon are organizing the 2026 Young Research Award ceremony on November 17 at the CIRC, recognizing scientific quality and the dissemination of scientific culture.

To highlight the work of young researchers, the Lyon Metropolis, the City of Lyon, and the University of Lyon annually award four prizes of €4,500 each, the Young Research Award. These awards recognize the scientific quality of post-doctoral research, as well as candidates' commitment to disseminating scientific culture and their efforts to communicate research to civil society.
The 2026 award ceremony will take place on November 17 at the CIRC and is open to everyone. This event will provide an opportunity to meet the laureates, discover their research topics, and be inspired by the scientific output of the region.
The program for the day will include the presentation of the four Young Research Awards in the categories of Health and Life Sciences, Exact Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and a Jury's Favorite Prize. A musical interlude will be provided by the association Jazz Club Lyon 3, followed by a dinner cocktail.
