The company L’Âme de la Fure, specializing in artisanal cutlery, distinguished itself at the regional ceremony of the 2026 RMC BFM SME Awards, which took place on September 28 in Lyon. This award celebrates its unique craftsmanship, rich history, and strong local connection.
Founded in 2023 by Jean-François Blouzard in Charavines, the company is located in a former scythe-making workshop. It crafts artisanal knives inspired by the history and heritage of Isère. By combining traditional know-how with the reuse of materials such as reformed steel, local wood, old skis, or leather scraps, L’Âme de la Fure creates unique pieces that tell the story of the region.
The competition continues for the regional winners, whose applications will be presented to a national jury on October 26. The national ceremony will be held on November 23 in Paris. National laureates will receive an advertising campaign valued at €100,000 gross on RMC and BFM Local channels, a professional video to showcase their business, and increased public visibility.
The CMA network, a partner of the RMC BFM SME Awards, supports artisanal businesses in growing their activities and enhancing their skills. These competitions highlight the diversity and innovation of artisans in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
