The SMND, the municipalities of the territory, and the CCEL are collectively committing to fight against abandoned waste and sustainably preserve the living environment. A common objective: to raise awareness, prevent illegal dumping, and encourage good daily practices.
Through a Plan to Combat Abandoned Waste, several actions will be deployed: raising awareness and informing residents, notably through communication campaigns on social networks; organizing events and clean-up days; implementing signage and prevention measures; and local initiatives to durably change behaviors.
Abandoning waste on public roads is also punishable by fines, the amount of which can vary depending on the nature of the offense and the circumstances. Beyond sanctions, it is our living environment and our surroundings that are directly affected.
A simple message: every gesture counts. Sorting, using bins, recycling centers, and second-hand shops, and leaving nothing on the ground are all actions that contribute to a cleaner and more pleasant territory to live in.
Local authorities, associations, local stakeholders, and citizens: the fight against abandoned waste is a collective endeavor.
