The municipality of Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or celebrated culinary and artisanal excellence during an evening dedicated to the "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" (MOF) on Tuesday, October 13th.

Nearly 150 people attended a captivating conference, hosted by Delphine Chazallet, the culture deputy. The audience had the opportunity to interact with distinguished guests, including Chef Olivier Couvin (MOF 2015) and Louis Morin, a dining room manager (MOF 2022), who shared their career paths and expertise.
Prior to the main event, students from the "École de Monsieur Paul", along with CE2 classes from Mme Laura Lebourg and CE2/CM2 from Mme Sylvie Amblard, were privileged to tour the Abbaye with its manager. They later enjoyed a special snack prepared by a MOF pastry chef and his team, and presented the artisans with handmade personalized aprons, a gesture that deeply touched them.
The evening continued in a friendly atmosphere with a delightful cocktail reception, offering everyone a chance to converse directly with these masters of excellence. A special thanks was extended to all who contributed to this event, as well as to the Maison Bocuse, for this moment of sharing and knowledge transfer.
