The town of Montpeyroux, in Puy-de-Dôme, will host the final stage of the Sud Auvergne Trophy this Sunday, bringing together 90 mushers and over 300 dogs for races and mushing-related activities.

The Ferme pédagogique de la Moulerette in Montpeyroux will resonate with the rhythm of sled dog teams and mushing events this Sunday, marking the conclusion of the Sud Auvergne Trophy. The event expects nearly 90 mushers and over 300 dogs for a day dedicated to this sport.
The program includes team departures and "mono-chien" (single-dog) races, followed by an awards ceremony. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to meet the mushers and learn more about different sled dog breeds, how a team operates, mushing disciplines, the special bond between musher and dogs, as well as training and animal welfare.
To enhance the day, a farm meal will be available by reservation. A farmers' market will showcase local produce, while a solidarity refreshment stand will donate its profits to the children of the RPE (Childcare Support Network) of Coudes/Montpeyroux.

An exciting encounter for all ages, offering the chance to discover different sled dog breeds, how a team works, mushing disciplines, the musher/dog relationship, dog training and well-being, and the life of a musher.
