Construction has begun on the new playground at the Marguerite Lacroix municipal park in Chazelles-sur-Lyon. This 150 m² area will be redesigned to offer a pleasant, secure play space integrated into its environment, with new equipment and protective fencing.

A new play area is being created at the Marguerite Lacroix municipal park in Chazelles-sur-Lyon. Covering nearly 150 m², this playground will be accessible to People with Reduced Mobility (PRM). It will retain four existing pieces of equipment, including two slides and two spring riders, and will be enhanced with a new roundabout and a hopscotch integrated into the ground surface.
For the comfort of families, approximately 20 linear meters of cube benches will be installed around the play structures. The project also includes nearly 90 m² of shrub beds to green and beautify this space in the heart of the park. A secure fence will be erected to protect children, given its proximity to the road.
A water point will also be created on-site. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2026. Children and their families will then be able to fully enjoy this new space dedicated to play, relaxation, and shared moments!
