From September 18 to November 30, 2026, the City Council and the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) of Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs are organizing the new edition of Automne Solidaire, a series of events focused on senior well-being, breast cancer prevention, and the fight against domestic violence.

This initiative aims to inform, raise awareness, and foster community connection. The program will begin on September 18 with workshops on self-esteem for seniors over 60, held on Fridays September 18 and 25, and October 2 and 9, from 9:30 AM to 12 PM in Salle Bleue. These workshops are free and by registration only.
On Monday, October 5 in the morning, a forum titled "Aging Well at Home" will take place on the Town Hall's forecourt. Organized by the CCAS in partnership with the Department of Isère and several local associations, it will address issues related to the home care of the elderly.
From October 6 to 31, the Town Hall will host an exhibition on breast cancer screening prevention, offered by the CCAS in collaboration with the Asalée nurses network. On Saturday, October 17 in the morning, a "Pink Walk" is scheduled at the Stade de la Daleure, organized by the CCAS with various local associations. On the same morning, six women in remission from breast cancer will perform a parachute jump at the airport, in partnership with the skydiving club, the Institut Alpin du Sein, and the association Les Merveilleuses.
On Sunday, October 18 at 1:30 PM, a solidarity rugby match will be held at the Stade de la Daleure, including the sale of ribbons and a fundraiser for the fight against cancer, as well as a prevention stand.
Subsequently, from November 2 to 15, an exhibition raising awareness about domestic violence will be presented at the Town Hall, accompanied by the screening of video capsules. To conclude the program, on Saturday, November 21 at 8 PM, the Salle des Spectacles will host the play "Résiste 2", offered by Ateliers de Mélénymie for the benefit of the association Les Merveilleuses.
This edition of Automne Solidaire is made possible thanks to the mobilization of numerous partners, associations, and local stakeholders committed alongside the City and the CCAS.
