Starting November 1, 2026, residents of the territory will have a simple solution to give a second life to their used sports and leisure equipment. This new initiative aims to reduce the disposal of these items and conserve natural resources.
The range of accepted equipment is extensive and includes, among other things, cycles and mobility (non-electric bikes, scooters), water sports and outdoor equipment (surfboards, camping tents, fishing rods), ball and mountain sports gear (skis, snowboards, rackets), as well as equestrian, fitness, and protection equipment.
However, sports clothing and shoes should be deposited in the dedicated bins for Textiles, Household Linen, and Shoes (TLC). Similarly, electrical or electronic equipment, such as electric scooters or connected devices, must be taken to specific channels.
Collected items will be sorted: items in good condition can be reused, while those that are no longer usable will be dismantled to recover their materials. This project is carried out in partnership with the approved eco-organization Ecologic.
