The aim is to offer residents a varied, local selection of gifts that complements existing businesses during the holiday season. A recently renovated 89 m² commercial space with a street-facing window, located at 11 rue St-André, will be made available. Interior setup is the responsibility of the occupants. Viewings are available by appointment on Tuesday, November 10, and Thursday, November 12.
Invited to apply are creators, artisans, and producers looking to test retail sales, merchants, and collectives of 4 to 6 exhibitors. Each applicant must have a SIRET number and professional civil liability insurance. Candidates based in La Côte-Saint-André or Bièvre Isère Communauté have priority. Products sought include crafts, decoration, fashion, cosmetics, games and toys, and local produce. On-site catering and services without sales are excluded.
The shop will be open from November 28 to December 31, 2026, with setup possible from November 21. The fee is a flat rate of €300 VAT included for the entire period, plus a €300 security deposit. Water and electricity charges will be borne by the occupant. Minimum opening hours are Thursday to Saturday, and on Sundays when shops are open, from 10 AM to 7 PM.
The Town will handle the shop's communication through its website, social media, and posters. Exhibitors will receive support from the commerce manager of Bièvre Isère Communauté.
The application file, limited to two pages with 3 to 5 product photos, must be emailed to contact@lacotesaintandre.fr by Monday, November 16, 2026, at 12 PM, with the subject line 'Boutique éphémère de Noël'. It should include exhibitor contact details and SIRET numbers, product descriptions, proposed opening hours, ideas for shop and window display, and proof of insurance or a commitment to provide it before occupying the premises. Applications will be reviewed by a committee, and responses will be sent by Friday, November 20.
The timeline includes the application deadline on November 16, responses to candidates on November 20, setup starting November 21, opening on November 28, and closing on December 31. This initiative precedes a call for expressions of interest for a 'trial shop'.
