Joël BAUD-GRASSET, President of Syane, and François SIMOND, Mayor of Samoëns, inaugurated a new electric vehicle charging station on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The new station, located at 319 route du Clos Moccand in Samoëns, was inaugurated by Joël BAUD-GRASSET, President of Syane, François SIMOND, Mayor of Samoëns, and the eborn network, a player in charging in southeastern France. This event highlights the strong commitment of Syane and the municipality to the energy transition.
Samoëns municipality transferred the IRVE (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure) competence to Syane in 2015. Before this new installation, four charging points had been put into service in 2018 (Le Criou parking) and four more in 2024 (three at the Grand Massif Express – P1 parking and one at the Cour parking).
This sixth charging point, inaugurated on September 23 at Clévieux, demonstrates the municipality's desire to continue its commitment alongside Syane to promote the energy transition and electric mobility.
