Established in 2019, the association Les Fées Roses du CHAL brings together 15 volunteers from the nursing and administrative staff of the CHAL's day unit. Its primary objective is to offer support, comfort, and well-being to patients undergoing cancer treatment and their relatives, through adapted supportive care, all in a spirit of humanity and kindness.
Thanks to the donations received, the association finances various essential initiatives. These include sessions of reflexology, yoga, and adapted sports, the involvement of an art therapist and a socio-esthetician, as well as the welcome of the Neztoiles (Clown Doctors), whose presence brings calm and joy to both patients and caregivers. Specific nail polishes for patients undergoing chemotherapy, protective sleeves for individuals with a PICC line, and virtual reality glasses used during anxiety-provoking treatments are also funded.
Each year, Les Fées Roses du CHAL also contributes to research by donating to the Ligue contre le cancer d’Annecy (League Against Cancer of Annecy). These actions are made possible by generous donations from individuals, companies, local authorities, and other associations, as well as from the sale of their creations during Octobre Rose (Pink October) events.
The association will be present on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the football stadium hall in Pers-Jussy.
