The Department is launching a major survey on the travel habits of Haute-Savoie residents, in partnership with the State and CEREMA, to better adapt public policies and mobility services.

Generally conducted every 10 years, this study aims to understand the travel patterns of Haute-Savoie residents. The objective is to meet needs, imagine new mobility services, and plan transport development projects.
This survey will help adjust projects and propose adapted mobility solutions. It is being carried out by the company ALYCE, a specialist in data collection and analysis.
13,000 Haute-Savoie residents have been selected by random draw to participate in this survey, regardless of their transport methods or habits.
The interview, lasting an average of 20 to 30 minutes, will cover the daily travel habits and constraints of participants and their household members. Interviews will take place on weekdays and Saturday mornings, excluding school holidays and public holidays, from September 8, 2026, to January 15, 2027.
The information gathered will provide an overview of travel habits in the department and will be essential data for guiding public policies.
