As part of the National Resilience Day, the Arly Watershed Union is organizing a meeting for elected officials in its territory. The aim is to raise awareness of crisis management issues and enhance their skills.
The conference, titled 'What are the roles of mayors and elected officials in crisis management?', will take place on Thursday, October 8th from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Salle des fêtes du chef-lieu, located at 10 av. Jules Bianco in 73400 UGINE.
Several objectives are targeted by this initiative: identifying anticipation tools for potential phenomena in the Arly watershed, better understanding the roles and resources available from institutional partners, sharing concrete experiences to evolve crisis management tools, and exchanging with resource persons in the territory.
The program will notably cover the launch of the Prep'Arly initiative and its presentation, anticipation and flood monitoring with upcoming new services, crisis management piloting at the prefectural level through the role of the Departmental Flood Referent (RDI), and theoretical and practical feedback from the city of Albertville on implementing its Communal Safeguard Plan.
