From September until December 2026, the Communauté de Communes Terres de Maurienne is adapting its Social Utility Transport service as part of an experiment. The goal is to offer more travel options to residents of the area, while maintaining the service's simplicity and accessibility.
Each line will now benefit from a monthly round trip to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. The schedule is as follows: the 1st Tuesday of the month for line 1, the 2nd Tuesday for line 2, and the 3rd Tuesday for line 3. This arrangement will be evaluated between September and December 2026.
The service will also be available on specific evenings to allow residents to attend local events. In September, two Cinébus sessions in Saint-Colomban-des-Villards are scheduled: Friday, September 25, 2026, at 8:30 PM, and Monday, September 28, 2026, at 8:30 PM. Other outings will be announced later.
Booking procedures remain unchanged: journeys must be reserved by phone at 04 79 56 08 86 no later than noon the day before. The complete September 2026 schedule is available for download.
This experiment will enable the Community of Communes to identify user needs and adapt the transport offer if necessary.
