Following the fire at the former Guerraz factory and the adjoining house, a part of Avenue Pierre de la Gontrie, between the Super U roundabout and the parking lot behind the SNCF train station, is prohibited to all road, cycle, and pedestrian traffic. The pedestrian path to the station is also affected.
Users are invited to reach the station via the main roads (RD201 and Avenue de la Gare) and to park in the SNCF parking lots located in front of the station.
These two disused buildings were affected by a fire during the night of October 24-25, 2026. The intervention of 19 firefighters and five vehicles helped to control the blaze.
This measure remains in effect until the results of the fire expertise are received and the necessary work to secure the building and its surroundings is completed.
