The new municipal team of Le Bourget-du-Lac held a first neighborhood meeting in Bocons, bringing together about twenty residents to gather their expectations on activities, safety, and living environment.

A neighborhood meeting took place in Bocons, a recent district of Le Bourget-du-Lac, bringing together over twenty residents of all ages. The objective was to allow the elected officials of the new municipal team to get acquainted with the residents and gather their needs as part of the social cohesion contract with Grand Lac.
Seven thematic workshops had been prepared by the municipality: neighborhood activities, prevention and security, youth life, my rights and procedures, living environment, mobility, and environment. The discussions allowed several avenues to be identified.
Among the initial suggestions, the creation of a public space with games and benches to encourage meetings was frequently mentioned. Residents also wish to develop neighborhood life with activities during holidays, quarterly themed evenings, and the creation of a neighborhood residents' group on social networks.
Regarding the living environment, concerns were raised about noise pollution, public lighting deemed too bright or insufficient in some areas, and vehicle speed. The demolition of the old abandoned house is also requested.
In terms of prevention and security, road adjustments to improve visibility and reduce the speed of heavy goods vehicles, as well as enhanced signage, were discussed. Dangerous parking in front of businesses was also highlighted.
For mobility, residents are requesting improved bus service, particularly for middle school students, the creation of a safe cycling link to the town center, and the installation of speed bumps to protect pedestrians.
These contributions will serve as a basis for the elected officials' work. After study, a refined assessment will be proposed to build an action plan. The municipality warmly thanked the residents for their participation.
