Applications for exceptional drought aid for 2026 are now open in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, with a deadline of October 30th.

The Chambre d’agriculture Savoie Mont-Blanc, in partnership with the Groupe de Développement du territoire, is organizing meetings on a farm to foster exchanges between local elected officials and farmers. These mornings aim to discuss territorial issues such as urban planning, cohabitation, local food, water, biodiversity, and climate change.
This initiative, titled “Elus à la ferme” (Elected Officials on the Farm), seeks to advance all stakeholders towards discussed solutions for territorial development while maintaining a strong local agriculture. Some actions have already taken place, and others are in preparation.
The Chambre d’agriculture Savoie Mont-Blanc drives territorial development, initiates and coordinates concrete projects in partnership with local elected officials and stakeholders, supports farmers in their daily lives, and represents them to collectivités, the State, and institutions.
The Groupe de développement du territoire brings together agricultural holdings in the area and serves as the primary contact for elected officials on agricultural matters, implementing collective projects that meet the needs of farmers and territories.

For more information on this initiative, local elected officials are invited to contact 06 74 78 98 50.
