The School of Second Chance in Savoie has inaugurated its new premises in Chambéry, in the Joppet district. This site, renovated with an eco-responsible approach, aims to be more accessible for young people and their partners.

After several years in Voglans, the institution, which supports young people aged 16 to 25 without diplomas or qualifications and who are distant from employment, has moved to 85 rue Auguste Mudry. This new location, closer to public transport and key partners like the Mission Locale du Bassin Chambérien, aims to facilitate young people's professional integration.
The new 730 m² premises have been entirely rethought. The renovation focused on an environmental logic, with particular attention to the reuse of materials such as acoustic tiles, floor coverings, lighting, and sanitary equipment recovered from other construction sites. This approach helps limit waste and reduce the need for new materials.
Established in 2010, the School of Second Chance in Savoie aims to help each individual build their professional project. In 2025, 118 young people were supported, with a majority being distant from employment (50% minors, 43% with disabilities, 81% with an educational level below CAP/BEP).
Grand Chambéry, a partner since the school's inception, supports this project with €200,000 for the real estate investment, alongside the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the Fondation Placo®. The agglomeration also provides annual operational support, increased to €45,000 since 2022, thereby strengthening integration solutions for the region's youth.
