On November 4, 2026, Grand Chambéry launches the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Month at CinéMalraux, highlighting local initiatives for a more sustainable and inclusive economy.

In November 2026, the Grand Chambéry territory celebrates the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) through various initiatives. The association ESS'TEAM Savoie Mont Blanc, with the support of Grand Chambéry, is organizing the launch of this new edition on November 4 at CinéMalraux.
The launch evening, starting at 7:30 PM at CinéMalraux, will focus on the theme "Towards a Regenerative World: Local Initiatives for Doing Things Differently." The program includes an exclusive preview from the film "vers un monde qui se régénère," a meeting with its director and social entrepreneur Romain Rubin, and discussions with local stakeholders on the regenerative economy and new ways of undertaking, living, and building.
Throughout the month, associations, cooperatives, solidarity businesses, and integration structures will offer meetings, workshops, visits, and activities. Notably, an exhibition on SSE will be presented at Les Petites Cantines until November 16, with participation from Chantiers Valoristes, La Madrée, and Coachlife. On November 18, MAIF will host a festive evening titled "From Roof to Plate" at Le Scarabée, showcasing the actions of La Régie Coup de Pouce, including the projects 1 Toit 2 Générations and SSalsa, featuring a show and a convivial soup.
Grand Chambéry reaffirms its commitment to SSE, supporting local initiatives that promote social cohesion, economic development, and ecological transition. This commitment is demonstrated through actions favoring sustainable food, short supply chains, and the mobilization of local actors, such as the "Courte Échelle" project in La Motte-Servolex in partnership with Les Triandines. The agglomeration is also conducting a Positive Energy Territory (TEPOS) experiment to engage local businesses in carbon sequestration, aiming to strengthen natural carbon sinks through forest planting and ecosystem restoration.
