This October, the municipality of Challes-les-Eaux is mobilizing for Pink October, illuminating its buildings and installing decorations to raise awareness about breast cancer.

As part of the national awareness campaign for breast cancer, Challes-les-Eaux is turning pink throughout the month of October. Several installations have been set up in various areas of the town to mark this mobilization.
The kiosk at Beauséjour parking and the town hall facade are now illuminated in pink every evening. Additional decorations, created by the CCAS and the Club du Mont Saint-Michel, adorn the kiosk. Pink ribbons have also been tied to the town hall facade and at the Aviation roundabout.
This initiative aims to highlight the importance of prevention and early detection of breast cancer, the most common cancer among women, affecting one in eight women during their lifetime.
