From October 12 to 18, Albertville hosts the Grand Bivouac festival for its 25th anniversary, gathering around a hundred authors, artists, and major travelers for cultural encounters and discoveries.

Since 2002, Le Grand Bivouac has made Albertville beat with the rhythm of the world. For this anniversary edition, the festival reaffirms its unique identity focused on understanding, sharing, and marveling together through stories, encounters, and world cultures.
Among the 150 proposed events, an exceptional evening titled 'The Taste of the Future' will be held on Friday, October 16, at the Dôme Théâtre. This event will blend excerpts from major documentaries, music, and interventions by invited personalities, offering a journey into the heart of humanity and its capacity to imagine the future despite present challenges.
The festival will also emphasize celebration and conviviality. Alongside free activities, the Nomado Livre (travel book fair), and the new caravan-based pocket cinema 'L’Univers,' the residents of Albertville are invited to celebrate the festival's 25th anniversary. Concerts, a giant karaoke, a South American balloon launch, and producer aperitifs will mark this edition.
