The Fête des Vourlois returns for its 37th edition, promising a friendly and family-oriented day on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Festivities will kick off on Saturday evening at 8:30 PM with fireworks at the Richard Vitton sports complex. The following day, the event opens with the traditional treasure hunt from 9:30 AM to 11 AM, preceded by registrations from 9 AM to 9:30 AM. After an aperitif offered by the municipality, Madame le Maire will deliver the inaugural speech.
The town hall park will host numerous shows, concerts, and participatory activities. The program includes circus workshops with the Compagnie Just Wahou, interactive magic tricks by the Compagnie du Dr Troll, musical performances by the Compagnie Vitamine Jazz Band, the show Ça va valser by the Compagnie Les Rustines de l’Ange, Zèles d’obus by the Compagnie Benoit Charpe, and L’Autre Dame de Paris by the Compagnie Five Foot Fingers.
Families can also enjoy two ecological carousels from the Compagnie Tête à Plumes: the Pedal Maharaja Carousel and the Gardener's Carousel. Three professional face painters will also be present to create designs for children. New registration procedures will be implemented to better manage attendance.
The event will highlight local know-how with the presence of numerous exhibitors, producers, brewers, and winemakers. Local associations will manage the food court, offering regional cuisine and an opportunity to meet volunteers.
The Town Hall will offer a meal tray for €13 (lentil salad, veal blanquette, cheese, bread, salted caramel shortbread), available for reservation online or at the Town Hall reception. The festival will proceed regardless of weather conditions, with a backup plan in place for inclement weather.
