From Friday, October 23rd to Monday, October 26th inclusive, individuals under 18 years of age will be prohibited from being in public spaces between 8 PM and 6 AM, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This measure was decided by the Municipality in a context of "serious public order disturbances".
Unaccompanied minors caught violating this rule may be escorted home by security forces. Their parents will be liable for a fixed fine of €135.
To ensure everyone's safety, several measures are being implemented in consultation with the State and the neighboring municipalities of Limas and Gleizé. These include reinforcing the national police and municipal police forces, as well as mobilizing the Urban Supervision Center (CSU). The City will also deploy private security teams to monitor municipal sites, the city center, and commercial areas.
By prefectural decree, it is also forbidden to purchase, possess, or use pyrotechnic articles and entertainment fireworks. The sale of fuel for takeaway, its purchase, and transport in containers are also prohibited.
