The mobilization for October Rose is visible throughout the town. The facade of the town hall and the bridge are illuminated in pink each night. The October municipal magazine's cover is also dedicated to this cause. As early detection can save lives, this campaign highlights the importance of staying informed and taking action.
Several events are scheduled for October. On Saturday, October 17th, the salle des fêtes will host self-examination workshops offered by the association Europa Donna at 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM (registration required at 06 81 17 09 50). On the same day, a concert will feature the Harmonie de l’Ozon and the Big Band du Conservatoire de Givors at 6 PM. Admission is free, but booking is recommended at 0 52 57 80 40.
Vernaison's local merchants are also participating. Donation boxes are available at their shops, and the collected funds will be donated to Europa Donna for research. Every gesture counts to support this cause.
