Until October 16, 2026, the City of Lyon invites general interest associations and structures involved in social integration through economic activity to express their interest in participating in the 2026 Christmas Market. The event will take place on Place Carnot, in Lyon's 2nd arrondissement.
Established for over 25 years in the Presqu'île, this market has become the region's most significant, attracting approximately 500,000 visitors per edition. Featuring over a hundred chalets, it embodies the spirit of the holiday season, emphasizing conviviality, togetherness, solidarity, and intergenerational joy. This year, the market will run from November 20 to December 24, 2026.
In a commitment to an engaged and supportive Christmas, the City of Lyon is offering space free of charge to charitable or environmental associations for donation collection or cause promotion. Social integration structures will also have a platform to showcase their trades and highlight the achievements of the individuals they support and the products they create.
To apply, candidates must complete the online form before October 16, 2026. Required documents include the association's statutes or the structure's kbis, along with a valid insurance certificate. The complete regulations detailing application conditions are available.
