As part of its local outreach efforts, the French Red Cross will conduct a door-to-door awareness campaign in the town of Lissieu. This initiative will take place between October 5 and October 31, 2026, with a presence limited to a maximum of six days during this period.
The campaign has a dual objective: to inform the general public about the association's various missions and to identify new regular donors. It is specified that no cash or check collections will be made on site.
Teams mandated by the Red Cross will visit residents' homes from Monday to Saturday, until 9 PM. They will be easily identifiable by a personalized badge and a uniform in the association's colors. No public space installations or flyer distribution are planned as part of this initiative.
Individuals wishing to support the association can do so by completing an online form, validated by electronic signature, for a monthly contribution starting from 15 euros per month, via automatic direct debit.
The French Red Cross highlights its daily work on numerous fronts, including food and clothing aid, support for isolated elderly people, the fight against poverty, emergency relief, support in correctional facilities, and international actions.
“"The Red Cross needs the solidarity and generosity of everyone more than ever to continue its missions. Regular donors ensure sustainable resources, allowing for rapid response in emergencies and long-term development."
Thanks to its 58,000 volunteers and over 1,000 local units spread across the country, the association maintains a close presence with populations, even in the most remote areas.
