SYDER, in partnership with the Communauté de communes des Monts du Lyonnais, inaugurated photovoltaic canopies on Friday, October 23, at the natural swimming site of Hurongues.

These facilities, operational since last July, have already generated the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 230 households and have avoided the emission of 25 tons of CO2. This ambitious project was completed within tight deadlines thanks to the mobilization of SYDER and all partner companies.
SYDER and the Communauté de communes des Monts du Lyonnais are actively collaborating on the territory's energy transition, already managing 30 photovoltaic installations.
SYDER is also a partner of the ECOLOUSTICS competition, led by FNCCR, in the Rhône region. It is collaborating with companies CNR (SOLARHONA), CORFU (Terre & Lac Solaire), and SERFIM ENR to produce 1 GWc of photovoltaic energy.
