SYTRAIVAL, in partnership with ecosystem and Ecomaison, is launching its Grand Toy Collection Drive from November 1st to 30th, with 17 collection points across its territory.

Recognizing that a toy typically remains stored in French households for an average of 5 years before being discarded, SYTRAIVAL and three of its members – the Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Arbresle, SIRTOM, and SMIDOM Veyle Saône – are collaborating with ecosystem and Ecomaison for this initiative. The goal is to give games and toys a second life.
All toys are accepted, whether in good condition, damaged, incomplete, or broken. This includes puzzles, board games, electric or electronic toys (without removable batteries), toys from children's meals, indoor games (dolls, figurines, plush toys, construction sets), and outdoor games (scooters, beach toys).
The collected donations will be entrusted to three local associations focused on reuse: Emmaüs Servas, REPAR’AR l'Arbresle, and Le Pont / la Ressourcerie Eco’Sol. In 2025, the collection gathered nearly a ton of toys across the territory.
Numerous collection points are available within the territories of CCPA, SIRTOM, and SMIDOM, including in Sain Bel, Bibost, Bessenay, Lentilly, Courzieu, Cluny, Pont de Veyle, Mezeriat, Vonnas, Saint Etienne sur Chalaronne, and Saint Didier sur Chalaronne.
