Since 2006, the Easy Europe consortium, coordinated by the CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, has been opening borders for apprentices in the region, offering company internships abroad, professional exchanges, and exposure to new cultural and professional practices. This Erasmus+ program has enabled numerous young people to gain valuable international experience.
Over the past 20 years, Easy Europe has provided young trainees and recent graduates with opportunities to explore countries such as Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Malta, and Hungary, discovering diverse approaches to their professions.
Currently, 22 training institutions in the region, including the CFA of CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Bourgoin-Jallieu, are part of this consortium. Since 2021, new stay formats and destinations have expanded mobility options. The program's impact is evident in the numbers: 475 apprentices on short-term mobility, 130 recent graduates on long-term mobility, 60 young trainers on observation internships, and 150 apprentices who completed internships in companies or training centers.
These experiences foster skill development, autonomy, intercultural encounters, and the discovery of new professional techniques. The Erasmus+ program allows apprentices to undertake internships in foreign companies, participate in group mobility, or engage in European or international professional competitions, while recent graduates can extend this immersion after their studies.
The Easy Europe consortium, leveraging its regional network, aims to make European mobility more accessible for vocational training students. The CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes manages the consortium's coordination and supports its members, including trainers and apprenticeship masters who wish to gain international professional experience.
The CFA of CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Bourgoin-Jallieu integrates these mobility opportunities into its training offerings, covering diverse sectors such as food services, hospitality, automotive, hairdressing, beauty care, and commerce.
