Ten years after its inception, the UNICEF Literary Prize is being honored in Genas. This event, which raises awareness among young readers about children's rights through quality works, will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7th, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Ludo-mediatheque. This free event is aimed at families and anyone wishing to discover or rediscover the books that have marked these ten years of the Literary Prize.
For a decade, this prize has highlighted books addressing themes such as children's rights, solidarity, respect, and openness to others. To mark this anniversary, a festive and family-friendly afternoon is planned, combining reading and games.
The day's program includes an exhibition of the winning books from the last ten editions at the ludo-mediatheque, free readings of the 2025-2026 award-winning books at the media library, and game stands focused on children's rights and books at the toy library.
Organized by the Ludo-mediatheque, the Youth and Children's Service, and UNICEF, this event aims to share a convivial moment centered around reading, games, and children's rights.
