From Monday, October 19th to Friday, October 23rd, the city of Thiers is organizing the "Popular Sports Caravan" for children. The activities will primarily take place at the Gymnase Jean Mince and the Maison des Sports.
The program begins on Monday, October 19th at the Gymnase Jean Mince with hockey sessions for 6-11 year olds (9:30 AM - 10:45 AM), followed by chase games for 3-5 year olds (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM). In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 6-11 year olds can try badminton.
On Tuesday, October 20th, still at the Gymnase Jean Mince, young athletes can play basketball (9:30 AM - 10:45 AM for 6-11 year olds) and participate in athletic and motor skills games for the younger ones (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM). A basketball tournament is also scheduled for 6-11 year olds from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
On Thursday, October 22nd, the Gymnase Jean Mince will host innovative games for all age groups (9:30 AM - 10:45 AM for 6-11 year olds, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for 3-5 year olds). In the afternoon, the Maison des Sports will be the venue for Taekwondo and wrestling games for 6-11 year olds (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM).
The week concludes on Friday, October 23rd at the Maison des Sports with family practices, team sports, and gymnastics in the morning (9:30 AM - 12:00 PM), requiring the mandatory presence of a parent or guardian. The afternoon will be dedicated to a large Sagamore game (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM).
It is essential to register before Friday, October 16th, the deadline to participate in the caravan. After this date, unregistered children will not be accepted by the educators.
