On Sunday, October 4th, Saint-Éloy-les-Mines celebrates the "Mine en Rose" day with a program of activities including a themed hike, a convivial meal, and various entertainment.

The day will begin with a solidarity hike "On the Footsteps of the Black Faces" (Sur les pas des Gueules Noires), a walk of about 2 hours to discover the local mining heritage. Departures will be between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM from the Pyramid of the water body (Pyramide du plan d’eau). This family-friendly walk is offered at a price of €8 per person, including a scarf in the event's colors. Registration is free for children under 12. The goal is to walk, discover local history, and support the fight against cancer.
At noon, the Community Hall (Salle des Fêtes) of Saint-Éloy-les-Mines, located on Avenue Aristide Briand, will host a meal organized by volunteers from the League Against Cancer (Ligue contre le cancer). The meal is priced at €16 for adults and €10 for children under 10, with drinks and coffee included. Reservations are mandatory before September 28th by calling 06 32 22 48 76 or 06 72 14 66 94. This event aims to foster solidarity in a warm atmosphere.
The afternoon will be dedicated to various activities, focusing on women, mining heritage, discovery, and well-being. Participants can enjoy activities offered by Souvenirs et Patrimoine du Mineur related to mining, as well as makeup, well-being, and yoga sessions with Dynamik. Sweet snacks and refreshments will be available to benefit Jeune et Rose, and dance demonstrations will be provided by La Joliphée and Dynamik. These activities are open to everyone, whether or not they participated in the morning's events.
