From November 23 to December 6, 2026, CPTS Val d’Allier Sud is organizing, in partnership with several associations and local structures, two weeks dedicated to the prevention and awareness of domestic violence. The objective is to reach the general public as well as professionals, to encourage exchanges, and to better publicize existing resources and actions on this theme.
Several events are offered to the general public. On Wednesdays, November 25 and December 2, parent-child massage workshops will be held in Chanonat and Aulnat. On Fridays, November 27, and Tuesdays, December 1, and Wednesday, December 2, children's book readings are scheduled in the media libraries of Pont-du-Château, Les Martres-de-Veyre, and Aydat. A film-debate titled "Cassée Debout", addressing violence and disability, is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, starting at 8 PM at the Salle de la Loco’Motive in Les Martres-de-Veyre.
For professionals, two awareness sessions and a conference-debate are also on the program. An awareness session for early childhood professionals will take place on Tuesdays, November 24, and Friday, December 4, in Cournon-d’Auvergne and Vic-le-Comte. A conference-debate on combating sexual violence by healthcare professionals will be held on Thursday, December 3, in Pont-du-Château.
Additionally, a photo exhibition created by Cœurs Solaires will be on display throughout these two weeks. It will be presented from November 23 to 30 in Cournon-d’Auvergne, and then from December 1 to 5 at the Alexandre Vialatte media library in Les Martres-de-Veyre.
