How to test materials? What can microorganisms teach us? How to transmit power wirelessly? What role do mathematics and artificial intelligence play in social network analysis? These are some of the questions that the teams at Polytech Clermont addressed with concrete answers during the Science Festival.
Middle and high school students benefited from an immersion into various scientific disciplines through workshops and discoveries tailored to their level. The goal was to introduce them to science in a new way and help them better understand its applications in daily life.
The day's program included exploration of materials and structures for construction, discovery of microorganisms and biorefining, a journey into the deep sea, reflection on nuclear waste, as well as topics related to mathematics, artificial intelligence, and wireless power transfer.
This initiative also aimed to give them a glimpse into the diverse fields where future engineers can evolve. The teams at Polytech Clermont were thanked for their commitment and for sharing their knowledge and passion for science with the younger generations.
