The very first cohort of the Agro CAP AGROBIO bachelor's degree dedicated an entire week, from September 21 to 25, 2026, to exploring the organic farming sector. Students visited the five sites opened at the start of the 2026 academic year to interact with key industry organizations in their region, including producer groups, regional networks, installation support structures, and consulting bodies.
This field initiative, which took place fifteen days after the academic year began, precedes the majority of the technical instruction planned in the curriculum. It aims to provide learners with practical understanding of the professional world before delving into the more technical aspects of the course.
At the conclusion of this intensive week, each student group presented a detailed mapping of organic agriculture stakeholders to a jury. This presentation serves as the first educational unit to be validated for the degree.
The Agro CAP AGROBIO bachelor's is a national degree program at the license level (bac+3) awarded by VetAgro Sup. It succeeds the professional license ABCD, which trained nearly 1,400 professionals over eighteen years in partnership with the University of Clermont Auvergne.
