Several projects led by social housing providers are underway or being prepared in Beaumont, aiming to evolve the municipal residential offer. These operations, spread across different areas such as Place de la Croix-Neuve, Rue Jean Moulin, and Rue de la Victoire, address the diverse needs of the inhabitants.
A new residence for seniors, managed by Auvergne Habitat, is nearing completion opposite Place de la Croix-Neuve. This major project includes 72 new apartments, with 34 specifically adapted for an aging population. Work is expected to conclude by November 2026.
On Rue de la Victoire, the Le Clos d’Alsace project, supported by OPHIS, is set to launch in October 2026. It combines the renovation of an existing building with the construction of 10 new homes, bringing the total to 18 units. The completion of the entire project is anticipated by late spring 2028, following approximately 8 months of renovation and 16 months of new construction.
At 7 Rue Jean Moulin, Auvergne Habitat is also preparing a rehabilitation project for 4 apartments, scheduled to begin in early 2027. This operation will involve reconfiguring some units, notably transforming two studios into larger apartments, and creating a 11 m² wooden bicycle storage area.
These initiatives, encompassing both new construction and the transformation of existing heritage, reflect a shared commitment to evolving the housing offer in Beaumont. They support the commune's transformations, contributing to the development of a more diverse residential supply tailored to residents' life paths.
