As part of the development of the Intercommunal Local Urban Plan (PLUi) for the Community of Communes of Forez-Est, three public meetings focused on the diagnostic phase are scheduled for November 2026. These sessions aim to inform residents about the territory's challenges.
The dates and locations for the meetings are as follows: November 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Salle Concillon in Balbigny; November 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Salle des fêtes in Bellegarde-en-Forez; and November 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Salle des Fêtes de Cleppé.
The PLUi is a planning document for the 42 municipalities of Forez-Est, establishing rules for land use and development. It aims to harmonize territorial development by considering environmental, social, and economic issues, and will eventually replace the individual municipal local urban plans (PLU).
Numerous topics will be addressed, including housing, environment and biodiversity, daily mobility, economic development, and agriculture, potentially concerning every resident. The development and implementation of this plan will take several years.
