The renowned funfair, the Vogue des Noix, will take place in Firminy from Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, October 18, 2026. The rides will be open during both weekends, as well as on Mondays October 12 and 19, Wednesdays October 14 and 21, and Fridays October 16 and 23.
The attractions will be spread across several locations in the city, including the parking lots and forecourt of the train station, Place Chanoine Chausse, Place du Breuil, Place du Marché, Avenue de la Gare, Rue Benoit Frachon, and Square Carré Cartal (Rue Jean Jaurès).
Parking restrictions are in place to facilitate the setup of the fairground attractions and ensure safety. From Monday, September 28 at 6 AM to Wednesday, October 21 at 7 PM, parking will be prohibited in several areas, including Rue Basse Ville, the Firmament parking lot, Rue Chanzy, Rue de Chazeau, the Roseraie parking lot, the Boulodrome parking lot, and the Boulevard Périphérique du Stade.
From Saturday, October 3 at 7 PM to Wednesday, October 21 at 2 PM, parking will also be prohibited in key squares such as Place du Marché, Rue Benoît Frachon, Place du Breuil, the church access roads, Avenue de la Gare, Place Marcellin Souhet, the station forecourt, and Square Danielle Carré Cartal.
During the fair's opening hours, parking bans will apply in streets like Rue Jean Jaurès, Rue Louis Blanc, Place Jean Jaurès, Avenue de la Gare, Rue de la Paix, Rue Voltaire, Rue Gambetta, Rue Benoit Frachon, Rue du Marché, Rue Plotton Lerbret, Place Chanoine Chausse, Square de la Rotonde, Rue Lachaux, and the Pizza Cosy / Carrément fleurs parking lots.
Specific events such as the torchlight procession on Saturday, October 10 (6:30 PM - 11 PM) and the corso on Saturday, October 17 (10 AM to Sunday, October 18 midnight) will lead to additional parking prohibitions in extended areas.
Vehicle circulation will also be restricted. Rue du Champ de Mars will be accessible to residents in both directions. Diversion routes will be implemented, notably on Boulevard Fayol, Rue Voltaire, and Rue de la République.
The STAS bus lines, particularly lines M1 and M2, will be affected from October 10 to October 18, 2026, with modified stops during the Vogue's operating hours.
Food and non-food markets, scheduled from Thursday, October 8 to Saturday, October 17, 2026, will be relocated to the "parking de la piscine", located on chemin de sous marquant / Rue des carrières.
Finally, the taxi stands located in front of the Hôtel de Ville will be moved to Rue Robert Plotton from Monday, October 5 midnight to Wednesday, October 21 midnight.
