On Friday, September 25th, students from the primary schools of Bellegarde-en-Forez participated in the election of new members for the Youth Municipal Council (CMJ). The process followed official procedures, including a voting booth, ballot paper, and ballot box, allowing young voters to experience firsthand how an election works and fulfill their role as citizens.
Enthusiasm was high, with many students attending the ballot count and supporting the candidates. Following the results, a significant moment of transition occurred: the former CMJ members proudly passed their sashes to the newly elected officials, symbolizing the handover between generations.
The new CMJ team for Bellegarde-en-Forez has now been presented and is already brimming with ideas to improve the daily lives of residents and envision new projects for the commune. Congratulations are extended to all candidates and participants for this civic day.
A new adventure begins for the CMJ, promising exciting projects ahead. Citizens are encouraged to stay connected to discover the young councilors' initiatives and future achievements soon.
