The Château de Bouthéon park will be adorned in autumn colors on October 10th and 11th for the new edition of Courge & Saveurs d’Automne, a family-friendly and gourmet event.

Designed for all ages, this event offers numerous free or low-cost activities. On the agenda: cooking workshops, sweet creations, musical journeys, fabric pumpkins, pumpkin laser shooting, pumpkin fishing, and musical entertainment. The joyful and lively Banda Gif will roam the site to get visitors dancing with their festive sounds. Additionally, students from the lycée professionnel hôtelier de Saint-Chamond will present culinary demonstrations and tastings.
The traditional market of local producers and artisans will be an opportunity to stock up on quality products. The most creative participants can enter the now-famous decorated pumpkin contest, open to both children and adults, and compete in the largest pumpkin contest.
Saturday evening's highlight is the Bal à facettes (Disco Ball Dance), hosted by the company Les Gentils at the Bouthéon festival hall, promising a lively dance floor.
The Château de Bouthéon estate, which narrates the history of the Loire River, will also feature attractions related to the river, an aquarium with 36 species, and a treasure hunt for children.
Ample free parking is available. Sunday morning is recommended for a calmer atmosphere. This event promises a festive, gourmet, and creative weekend in Andrézieux-Bouthéon.
